Mythology System in High School DxD

What does it mean to be abandoned by the gods? Eden grew up a bastion of pestilence. Ps: If you're expecting an ultra-cool badass edgy mc go somewhere else, the Mc is literally a five-year-old at the start of the novel, he won't have the cognitive reasoning of an adult man nor your pubescent spite. Eros: The Forgotten God

Three hundred years ago, the world as we know it changed. The skies were torn asunder, and magical creatures invaded our world. They killed, they captured, and half of humanity was wiped out before they could even fight back. It was an event that would forever be known as the great calamity when our world merged with that of fiction, with the mythologies that we previously believed were little more than folktales. Fantasia Online, a name that quickly enveloped the world with its presence. Said to be the first VRMMORPG, it made headlines with its grandiose promises, from claims of an expansive, almost infinite reality boasting gods and characters from almost every work of notable Fantasy. From the harrowing tales of Dracula to the blurred retellings of the Arthurian legend, everything one could imagine lay in wait in such a game. You could be a hero, a being destined to save the world, or you could bring destruction. It sounded almost too good to be true, and yet, unknown to all at the time, such advertisements merely scratched the surface of the reality they would soon plunge themselves into. Join our protagonist, Eden Grimm, as he falls into such a world, though whether he ends up in the same place as his peers is something you'll just have to read to find out. Ps. Harry Potter: Rise of the beast god

{Long Chapters} A child awoke in a dark forest. He knew not his name nor his goal. He was content with dying because he had never lived, yet he was saved by a beautiful woman draped in blue. Given a chance to attend a wizarding school, see how our protagonist takes to his new life as one of the very first students at Hogwarts. Will he suffer misfortune, or will he rise, read to find out? I can't write the full summary of this story because I want to avoid spoilers, but the MC will be very, "unique", to say the least. Despite possessing magic, he can't really use it and has to find his own way in the world. The time period this novel is set in is the very first year since Hogwarts has been founded, so expect little to no ties to JKs' original story; also the harry potter world won't even be the main focus past a certain point as I wish to dive into mythological aspects and all that stuff. Ps: The harem will only really start in his third year, so don't expect me to rush it. Also, the art used on the cover is not mine, and I will remove it if the owner wishes me to.

The gate to Avalon, a name that would perk the interest of any passing listener. An eroge so renowned, so widespread that everyone on earth took to playing it, both young and old, rich and poor, as long as one even lived in the vicinity of a device, they would surely have at least some experience with the game. With a seemingly infinite amount of heroines and an ever-increasing update rate, the game quickly became the sole thing anyone would talk about, and our protagonist just so happened to be the number one player in the game. Boasting an impressive harem of over 119 girls, he was an untouchable being to the masses, a god who lorded over them with his impressive heroine count, that was, at least until someone managed to hack the previously uncrackable game. A group of 4. They destroyed everything. They took everything, his place among the leader board, his life's accomplishment, his sole reason to live. Everything had been snatched away by a group of seemingly no-life hackers. And that was when everything began to change, dragged away to the very game world he had dedicated his life towards, and forced to compete against the four people that destroyed his pride in a game for the gods. See how our protagonist takes to his new life in another world. Will he seduce all the heroines, or will he die and experience a fate worse than death? Read to find out. Ps: In the first few chapters, I really had no idea what I was going to do with the story. I included too many things I didn't fully understand nor want, such as a strength, mana and defence stat along with a physique category. I'm just writing this here to warn people about the removal of such a thing in the later chapters (5 and above), so it doesn't come off as a cop-out. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my first piece of work. PPS: I do not own the artwork affiliated with my cover, and if the owner of such a piece wishes me to take it down, then I will. This novel takes inspiration from the conqueror's path, I love that novel and thought the premise was super unique, so I decided to make my own story with the same type of fundamental idea.
