hmm, he didn't bother appraising them and just stepped out. and he calls himself a gamer. more like a fool.
so where is the stomach acid and bone crushing pressure from the frog's organs trying to squish you to death? And the death of borax is too anticlimactic not to mention why is he evolving again after just getting his sweet new armor?
The premise of this story is a depressed war veteran who sank all of his feelings of sadness to live a world in an RPG game that gave him meaning to keep living. He got so immersed with the game, that he knew almost everything about the game. But now, he gets to live inside the game as a character he has never played before. And that character is a necromancer. I love the feeling I get from the main character. The slow growth of his personality into accepting the world he now is in as his own and accepting his new identity. What I love even more is how his cold heart is slowly melting and finding a new purpose in this life. And what even blows my mind even more, is that his approach to the way he does things change gradualy the more he learns new things. The stronger he grows, his thinking changes and so does his approach to solving situations. That kind of growth is so rare to find in an action isekai story specially based around a game world. It feels satisfying to read this kind of story. Even if the world feels a bit lacking in magical creatures and magical items, the characters that are presented pulls me into wondering; how they think, how they grow and what they struggle with. The plot is very thick in the story as in it focuses on the main character albeit in a very slow pace kind of way. With the side characters slowly acknowledging the Main character and gradually gravitating to his side. I can't wait for a new chapter and I am looking forward to seeing how this story develops.
