I’m enjoying this story. The only problem is that the chapters are so short.

So he left knowing that his young sick wife was going to be bullied. He even factored that fact into how it could make him look better when he showed a little kindness. He is toxic, possessive, and manipulative!

With his earlier behaviour of drawing a gun and threatening to kill her if she divorced him this thought is terrifying !
