It’ s true though. Water itself when pure is a great insulator. It’a the salt and other minerals that when mixed in with it that make it a good conductor of electricity.

This is a novel that I really enjoyed. The only complaint I have it the ending was unsatisfying and unexpected. I wish the author spent a little more time on it and at least gave the story a clear resolution.

Not reporting the problem to the higher ups is derelection of duty. Especially with law enforcement not reporting a case where you know the identity of the perp who is responsible for over 50 deaths at this point and where his likely destination is. It is just plain moronIc!

They could have easily found out about the torture. Documentation is a huge part of science and as a research facility they likely keep notes on every experiment especially resource intensive ones like one off experiments that require living subjects.
