My reading style: I always try to give the author and characters the benefit of the doubt. (To a certain extent) I can enjoy tons of novels but can’t get into it if the grammar is too far gone.

My guess is that it has less to do with a specific number of enemies it chains to and more to do with chaining to enemies within a certain range(that would depend upon both the epicenter and nearest chained enemies)
The soldiers wouldn’t see that, they would see this 😂
The last thing her opponent ever sees…
I know he’s layered skills before, but I can’t recall any instance of him merging skills together - if he were capable of merging skills, I feel like that would’ve become a much bigger deal than even his ability to make skill books for skills he’s mastered.
Interesting thing: venom being a last resort that you don’t want to use is a commonality between most venomous snake species — this is thought to be because, evolutionarily, venom is a very expensive commodity — Features such as the cobra’s hood, rattlesnake’s rattle, and a cottonmouth’s mouth all serve the function of warning a threat to leave so that it doesn’t have to use its venom.
Making the skill book not only takes materials - which he may or may not have - but it also requires reaching a certain mastery level of the skill. Since this is the first time that we’ve seen him make use of this skill so far, I’m guessing he’s not at that level yet.
I’m guessing he either doesn’t have the necessary materials or necessary mastery level to make the skill book for that at the moment
