I will most likely end it in 100 or 200 chaps at most. To be honest, the book isn't earning at all. Neither of mine does... I won't write a half assed ending, tho, but yeah, I can't continue either when I earn less than a fourth of my country's minimum wage. ^^

Mana affinity was the trap. Adam didn't get a talent because it would have empowered him with the beast's affinity, making him unable to use Kwame's ritual. It's not a problem for Noah since he already follows the venomous path. Plus, the poisonous, mana-rich mountain will help him become an archmage in his later years, but nothing above. If you remember, that was why Kwame and Elena called affinities traps: You need vast lands filled with mana corresponding to your element, mirrored by Vivian's flying island, Marina living in the depths, and the beast emperor drawing power from the south continent.
