It's a little hard to read with some grammatical errors but if you get over that the story is funny and the main character is not a pushover though he is stupid. The world-building isn't explained properly but is understandable. Most of the comedy aspect comes from excessive emotional outbursts but that's the strong point. While using the character's emotional outbursts it was used excessively but with great timing and not overly used by a specific character. Unlike some over-the-top Japanese comedy where the girl starts yelling for no reason and hits the protagonist. One chapter isn't enough to form a constructive criticism but this is what I got from reading one chapter. I do hope it's a little longer
It's funny but lacking some explanation so it's hard to understand the situation, otherwise pretty funny. I had the same idea I made with all the stuff mashed together too.
I'm writing a review because probably nobody will, Julian of misfortune were intended as comedy but I'm not really good at it. Julian's luck can be considered bad and he is a moron. With his "friend" Normud they try to kill demons that might not actually exist. Normud is not real because Julian is schizophrenic. The writing ququality is bad since I'm new to writing novel and story is very unclear since I didn't think far.
