He is the mage that released the gas, he has a way to view the rats remotely through magic. Incase you were wondering I believe that the intention behind the gas was to turn the rats into better cannon fodder by decreasing their mental capacity and increasing their physical ability but ingesting demon tainted flesh caused the issues we are experiencing currently
In a way they still do need them, they need keep them happy enough following them that they don’t just turn to following fiends or worshipping their darker counterparts
I wonder what the sealing of the core did to the ratmen, because we have a idea that it possibly made them more subservient but we don’t know what else it did. Did it stop them from developing magic or did it somehow limit their creativity to stop them from developing truly horrific things
Looks like my previous prediction is coming true, the surviving rats are continuing to gain military experience and eventually there desperation will lead them to create weapons to either kill the demons or to revolt against the goblins
It’s that kind of desperation that often leads to the creation of abominations that no sane person would ever think of using, so I think that we are about to see the rise of technology that wouldn’t seem out of place in the armies of the skaven.
Plz continue writing
This war might have the opposite effect that the goblin emperor hoped for. The war against the demons are allowing the ratmen to gain battlefield experience against a foe that is both physically and magically superior, it is also allowing them to give there weapons a stress test to see how they can be improved
You have to keep in mind that pretty much nobody that fought him was able to challenge him before he left his world so it would be normal for a person to start becoming careless without even realizing it.
I meant specifically the demon fragment that is messing with Bjornes religion.
I don’t think he even knows that demon exists.
