Where is the romance tag? pfft it was funny to think that he's not a completely evil. Yes he is ruthless and selfish but base on his personality he's just a broken kid nothing more. He even told his pastlife to his Lover, he's not a mistake lol he's just a experiment.. not someone who has defied the odds, I might say that the pacing is good, the character development is also decent. The only problem is the vague type of writing and using words repetitive. like as if it' Nevertheless, Nonetheless. And describing the actions weakly. I'm not a good writer myself but I could atleast share my opinions to improve.

Let's assume that the sacred gear gave him knowledge about supernatural world.
