I don't typically write reviews, and this is my second ever, but after reading through a plethora of novels on this site and others, as well as seeing the comments on here, I realized I had no choice... I Am The Games Villain is one of the best novels I've read up to date, and once I realized I didn't have it in my library my first reaction was to serch the top ranked novels, only to discover its not there!? Insane I say! I check the reviews and realized maybe some people aren't as hooked as they should be, so here I am, explaining to all why this is a diamond. Firstly, the characters are so fleshed out they feel real, and while I don't want to spoil anything, the author truly brings life to all the characters, I see other reviews mentioning our lead being "boring" but in reality I don't think we are reading the same novel?? MC is such a mystery that I'm infinity entranced by his past and future that tbh, neither me nor him know anything about, he's broken but not bad, Scarred and struggling for what he loves, what he's already lost and what he still has to lose. Honestly just reflecting over his character makes me want to describe him as Noble, and thats ironic, because I'd never describe him as such originally. It's truly rare to find this level of character development, and although others may say otherwise, maybe because he "just played" match maker for too long or simply because he's "boring", he's amongst the best male leads out there, doing everything for her, and expanding on that sentiment with others once he truly "accepts" his identity. Next, The world building has me on the end of my seat, even though it was all supposed to be a game, everything predetermined and predestined, I have never been so excited for an event I already know is going to happen to become so messed up and unplanned, so dangerous and stressful for me the reader 😅 Damn- this was supposed to be a quick review, so I'll put and end to this, I guess I got a little excited and kinda want to re-read now 🤣. 1. Characters backgrounds and relationships/ interactions are phenomenal 2. world is spectacular, bro named a God after himself for a reason, he is A CREATOR 3. Some of the best fighting choreography and writing style. They truly fit each other. 4. A piece of advice, The author will kill off Characters, but that doesn't mean you can't love them anyway, just be warned he "kills them well" if that makes any sense lol. 5. Last but not least, Thank you very much for the story, and for reference, the only other review I've made is on Dimensional Decent... I have high standards haha... but hey, diamonds are hard to find, keep up the good work boss, and stay healthy please!!! to many authors don't take care of themselves 😭.

Now I ain't gonna try to enter a debate about anything, and probably will never open the review section again. BUT, spoiler, he decides not to and is important for more character development/ "respect and persistence". Just thought I'd comment cause I think you missing out. (I might be bias cause I love this novel) but it'd be unfortunate if you missed out on the next 1000 chapters because of a misunderstanding. (Though I understand cause I also didn't want that to be the new goal)

Honestly my new favorite and to be clear, while I am no critic and will probably read just about anything, my standards have just been raised dramatically. I started this read a long time ago (stopped right around chapter 5) and only recently picked it up again, thank God I did, because this is the first time I've seen this many genre's and tags, all of which I love, so perfectly blended together. I don't want to start writing to much, both due to this being my first review and me not trusting myself not to spoil anything, so I'll leave it at this. Read a little past chapter 5, if you are like me, you will most certainly understand just the kind of gold mine you've stumbled upon. Have a wonderful read.
