new chapter will be dropping today. I usually have a 4 chapter buffer. so rn I'm basically at the point where Kratos is at the end of his journey following the river. So introducing 4 characters that are quintessential to the Hindu mythology while being respectful took a bit of time.

Mandatory review by author (I gave myself a low mark for update stability because I know my frequency is unreliable). I write long chapters to make up for my low frequency and irregularity. This is in large part due to my current working arrangement, which I hope will improve soon. This fanfiction is been in the making for a long time. Its a reimagining of the God of War sequel series set in Hindu Mythology. I don't intend for this to be a throwaway fanfic where you dump crazy what-ifs. I have put a lot of thought into it. Characters will feel real and stick true to their personalities and quirks. There will be higher literary elements (or at least attempts will be made to include them) like symbolism and themes. Im a huge fan of GoW Games and Hindu Mythology. This is an amalgamation of my fanaticism. In writing this, I had one main thought: What if this was a game? This has been one of the guiding factors in this fanfic, and Im certain that at any point in time while you read this, you should be able to imagine a level set in the game and IT SHOULD be plausible to play through. A little bit of a spoiler as well: ... ... ... The weapons used in GoW 4 and Ragnarok will be earned by Kratos in this novel. I.E. there will be an axe, his signature weapon, spear, and shield. The channel through which he receives them will be different to match the Mythos though.
