Zugzwang is when any possible move leads to a worse outcome than your current position
The fact that this novel was hard for me to find shows how bad Webnovel’s book promotion system is. They constantly try to get to read terrible books that have a trillion bad reviews but then never reccomend me books that are good like this one. Although I don’t have the time or patience for a full review, this book is a truly well made book, especially for this site. The concept is unique and interesting, the characters are generally well thought out and the MC eventually starts to move away from constantly relying on the system. I also like how the MC doesn’t just know the absolute best path for everything and is kinda dumb at times, because it makes it a little more relatable and interesting. Anyways, give the book a try if you haven’t already!

Came for the OP MC, stayed for the faces.
Remember that this is viewed as bad, not good.
Not that i have anything against the writing style, but for me reading a book is like experiencing the world through the eyes of an MC. If you have the first chapter essentially be the last, it first of all makes the event less interesting by taking away all the backstory of an event and all the things that make it satisfying. Then, when you read through the novel all the plot twists and things become less interesting because you know that the MC is always going to end up at a certain point. I think this suffers from a lot of the same problems you have as making the MC OP in the first few chapters. it takes away the fun of being of being overpowered a little, and all the “face slapping” is much less interesting. I think this Is basically like watching a youtube video right before an assignment when you haven’t done it yet, it ends up being much less satisfying. Each to their own tho, everybody reads books differently.
I think the best decision would prolly be to just put your points in luck because thats the only thing you cant train, then you just train the rest of skills and maybe put a few supplimentary points in if you’re Desperate. this way you can maximise the advantage of being both a player and kinda an NPC
