for a brief moment, imagine: a Liger, and in this hypothetical Ligers are powerful hybrids of Lion and Tiger both big cats but tigers tend to grow bigger and stronger and lions have a stronger bite force and dense bones (maybe not a one to one with the variables of humans and Otsutsuki but whatever) and the first of this species claims that the reason for its strength isn't due to the Tiger part of its genes as that was just the catalyst no, it claims it's mostly, if not all, due to the infinite untapped potential of its Lion ancestry TLDR: Common case of *XY* species claiming *X* superiority, despite heavily relying on and owing half it strength to *Y* Original author is really doing tricks on all of humanities dicks this chapter
even if bloodline resonance was a thing, it should only happen with direct descendants. older bastards shouldn't be rewarded for doing nothing
Paraphrasing: "You only one because you were stronger!!!" Is spirit power not a part of someone's strength? Did this guy just roll up from stupid town?
I prefer this style
I've read another translation of this a long time ago. I remember he ended up sparing Itachi because "It'S tHiS BodIEs bRoTHeR" or some shit. It's been a while, but I think he doesn't even punish (or at least punish that hard) everyone who made an attempt at his life in this battle. maybe the point is, he's so powerful it doesn't matter/ he's above them. but just forgiving and forgetting is annoying and doesn't really give any closure to this whole event. TLDR: I hope the TL changes some things from the original story (punishing those who got away scot-free)
only a 1000 yen? cheapskate father
