There’s no rule out there that says a copy cannot surpass the original.

Anyone reminded of this scene? When Boromir traces the length of Narsil only to cut himself by accident and then drop it only for him and Arogorn to have a staring contest before Boromir just left.
Imagine you're doing whatever you do in a library, until suddenly you see a Guy holding his own sword and tracing the finger along the blade, cutting himself in the process and being all smiley about it...

Damn then he should have just done that save himself the pain he went through lol. Of course I get why you didn’t do that as that would just end things to quickly and he wouldn’t have been able to grind more levels and skills.
