Interesting story. However, the reason for such a low score is directly because of the story lack of progress. We see Danzo constantly trying to kill the MC and the MC doing f*ckall. At this point of the story I decided to drop it since it's obvious that the same point will recur being: Danzo attack, MC defend himself, Hokage meet Danzo, "It's your last warning, Danzo.", and everything restart from there. The translation work if good and the cheat nice but in the end it's nothing more than that.
Overall, the MC is seventeen. Yet he his still in his first or second year in the ninja academy after having repeated for ten years. He's now in the year of Naruto but ten years older then them. Nothing makes sense and I do not recommend this fanfic.
Yeah, but at least Genin is a ninja and brings back some money to the village, he stayed as a student in the academy for ten years. First he would have at least been in the last academy year and not the first or second one with seven years old. Finally, considering the number of ninjas, there can't be only one class and he wouldn't have been in an 'elite' class that teaches the heir of Konoha's clans as he didn't have the aptitude to stay there and at this point, Sakura has shown more ninja prospect than he who repeated ten years. So considering the price to teach someone the same knowledge for ten years straight and showing no potential, he would have long been kicked of the academy and become a civilian
Thanks for bringing us this great fanfic! Keep up the great work !
Now that you mentions it, being hokage is cursed haha The 1st and 2nd hokages lost their entire clan exceot Tsunade The 3rd Hokage lost his wife, his oldest kid, while his younger kid became the Sarutobi's Boruto like you said. The 4th Hokage lost his entire family the day his kid was born The fifth Hokage had already lost her entire family, her younger brother and lover... Finally, Naruto lost Kurama, Boruto became a traitor and even Hinata became a lesser version of herself (figure)
Why am I having Dumbledore's vibe here? [img=gift]
Of course, it also refers to the interference of Beckman in the battle against Shanks and his belief that it would be pretty hard to win a fight against two top-combatants.
I believe it's in reference to a gloomy sky which makes one believe it might rain. They used this as a reference to show how Akainu didn't expect the opponent (Shanks) to be that strong and as such is gloomy/unhappy and without hope to win the fight against Shanks easily.
