I'm with you on this! I'll join your religious crusade!
Don't worry, I agree most of your points here as its indeed valid. But there's also a reason why this particular seen bore a reflection in life, as crazy and silly idea may be. Also, I'm glad there are people like you who are liberal enough to think that YOLO and only you could please yourself if not everyone else around you. But on the other side of that, it definitely sucks to hear that there's still something like this still continue to exist this day. Not that I could blame her with the society she grew up with. Any fear is scary itself. There are other places that condone cannibalism or murder, but definitely not my place to say (or rally human rights) as its their way of living and they grew up with. Do I agree? no. I think the conflict and the motivation the character have, so far, is about seeking the validation and the need for affection. Honestly, I got to research and knew this from a friend of mine, and it sucks. (had to tweak a little to have disclaimers.) Sometimes, even what people think you got it all, is never enough. Even for the way of thinking, I think sometimes when you get into your head, and the inner saboteur kicks in to do the thing what dreaded you the most wouldn't make the situation any better and then cope up with different defense mechanisms that only result negatively.
Funny enough, this is a struggle that I saw secondhand; things are just easier said than done and for the person to experience. I think being molded to a criteria of what family approves (most esp in the traditional asian countries) have this notion.
Hello there! [img=recommend][img=recommend] It's exactly no different from a double life she had. I think villains on most stories had this notion to have a redemption, but you'll see in the latest chapter that is.
Hello everyone! Author here, it's been months ever since I've started writing this book, and I must say I'm so proud what I have to offer for the spirity and how I've come so far. I'd like to start with multiple third-POV limited in every several chapters therein (about 45-50). So it might not be the usual third POV omniscient or first POV, but I do feel like you should give it a read. The stability of the updates would always be 2 ch/ day; or so at least I've tried to keep up for my readers. I hope you do enjoy it. The story development: I'd say the start would be a gradual build-up before the main event happens. I thought that it wouldn't be right in my heart that there might be some relations with the settings and whatnot, and it would've been a bummer not to read the two different sides of the same coin. The character design differs on every character POV, but its still up to you how you give it a view base on their observations! The world background has similar issue needed to be address with the story development. But then, like the character design... The world building is sufficient enough for readers to grasp the character interactions of the setting in the world got created. Have fun reading everyone! I can't wait to get to know you all!
