Going by the lore, you are correct. To me though, it seems like the fanfic follows the game's powerscaling. The MC seems to be at the top of end-game Guardians in terms of power, while the enemies seem to be mid-game at max. Crota can be soloed in that case. But, to be completely fair, I'm just arguing about details for the sake of being just to a content creator. TL;DR: Good point. If the author wants, they could figure something out for the wakeup call.

Admittedly I still need to find an appropriate enemy and grind up the low level ones, but complete physical resistance is a wonderful thing, especially since I'm a mage, and all mages are somewhat squishy. The people of this world might be weak but I don't want a super-powered beat down when I go to the DC or Marvel Verses. There are scary people out there in the multiverse and I don't want to be anywhere near them until I am certain I can win, or at the very least not lose. It might seem crazy to be planning on fighting Superman or The Hulk, but both the Avengers and the Justice League happen to have plenty of hot super-powered women in them, and I do like sexy slaves that can actually have a use out of the bedroom. Did I get this idea from a porn game I played? Yes.
