Considering the effect it's having on making others get stronger faster it's probably something like a weaker hogyoku, especially since the names are similar, the translation for hogyoku is 'crumbling orb/breakdown sphere'
How in the hell does he lose a spar to Cardin out of all characters, one who is barely above fodder-rank among students, especially after all that grinding. Actually labeling Cardin as level 80+ was already bs, especially considering how strong characters from The Gamer that get labeled in the 80s and 90s are, literally a single one of them could beat Cardin a hundred times over without breaking a sweat. You literally did nothing to follow a similar power-scaling compared to the original series and took so much away from 'The Gamer' system by removing the gamer's body and mind you might as well have made it purely a rwby fanfic with a random system and be done with it. Whole story is just a garbled mess of unrefined and badly applied ideas.
Yeah, I gave it more thought and will be doing that scene then reorganizing the whole story.
:/
Yes, I saw the lack of bi MCs and decided I'd try to capitalize on it! Still, now a few days from when I first began writing I am noticing my lack of planning and organization. But I'm going to do my best to change that, still college makes it difficult to focus on writing, but I'm doing as much as I can!
Done and done, almost forgot about that one. Thanks for reminding me!
Chapter 3 made me make the best decision: dropping this novel because the mc is a system slave. Seriously a -20% xp penalty for failing his first quest?
Well, too bad. It was good while it lasted. Sorry, but I'll have to drop this one chief.
