he had to lvl up to zero first den 1&2 seems plausible as we don't know how much XP it took

most games also give out set stat points based on class but we haven't been told how many if i remember correctly

he gets 5 every level he leveled up twice in the beginning and got 10 form 1 to level 7 it's 35 total extra stat points
