I’m an editor in real life, and I love a good romance.

This is an interesting take on rebirth. I very much appreciate the redo from a mature woman who isn’t a virgin and died for whatever reason early in life. One unfortunate thing reading this isn’t about the novel at all, but rather a few loud male misogynists who feel the need to comment on everything from the experience of being a wife and mother to how bad they feel for crappy male figures in the novel and why their awful behavior is justified. Just be warned ahead of time that they are present and enjoy the novel.
So, do they not have non-plaster/fiberglass casts in China? Like I cannot imagine that if you break anything you are just expected to take 8+ weeks in a hospital for any broken bone. It makes it hard to follow the story. Things exist so life can go on.
She didn’t take pics of the convo and send them to herself?
Has there been a single party in this novel that hasn’t turned out badly?
Sell the earrings and get the heck out of town? No. Ok.
Wasn’t the detective’s name Wong before?
Wait… they are 2 different people? Not just a misprint? Oh I have been confused for a hundred + chapters
I hope she gave that kid one of her lollipops. ❤️ that poor guy was about to be another victim.
Did this happen around 5 years old?
Up to now, you have done no background investigations? Just going to rely on the fact that whatever she did before didn’t happen close enough to you for you to hear about it???
