I swr this is the author using this character to air out some resentments of his previous books failing. It might even be this one as its far from the typical cultivation novels put out by Chinese Authors lol...
I've done the same brother...
bro, i read this part previously thinking it was wack and I thought about dropping the book because of it , but after I listen to the song I had to come back to reread it, the song is seriously fking amazing and this guy's reaction is no joke how i would react if I had listened to it for the first time...
He showed promise...
Feels like your writing continuously then cutting the long chapter into two, maybe thats why the start of some chapters feels so weird...
He gets skinner in later chaps...
Yeah, that's why I left it there to remined myself, but sometimes I still forget. Imma fix it now...
Think of it as 'Arrrgh', like when you're using all your strength to lift a heavy object...
Yup, his mother is Hemera goddess of light, but this relates to a separate system of power that doesn't influence his Innate Dharma/Immortal cultivation...
Know I wasn't trying to be condescending by suggesting looking at the situation as a whole. I suppose I suggested it so you add that perspective to your suspension of disbelief...
It's hard to change a reader's mind once they've already have a perception of what the book is going to be about, but its definitely not going to have plot or characters interacting like that. Oh, I guess you could read the top comment in this chap and a few others ones to get what I'm saying...anyway if you decided to continue do leave a commit if your opinonin's changed...
Oh, then did you finish the chapter? If you think this is going to be a common theme for the mc then it isnt, given the circumstances of the situation, Sol was still in denial that his father couldn't protect his home, and you could say his words just now was said out of anger because his father told him to run away, something that went against the many lessons that his father always taught him. I know his words said here sounds like something those self rightious mcs would say, but if you zoom out and consider the situation from a wider perspective you might have deffering opinion. I know the type of mc's you're thinking about, but if you continue reading I think you'll prob trust me not to create those types situations for the mc or force him into a situation just for plot...
lol, did you rly
Haha, I suppose that's what I was going for, for readers and Sol to share the same feeling of having their expectations dashed...

Yup, but most readers aren't gonna commit this to memory even if they were distinct names since this is just a backstory info dump. The names will only get familiar when they're brought up in memorable moments later on in the book... well this is what i feel after reading and writing books...
Yup, it'll eventually be explained in later chaps thou...
Nah bro, just differing opinion is all...
