That is handle through Ervin's orders she can't betray him in any way that would lead to his life being harm or taken nor reveal his secrets and the fact she can't even be far from Ervin. Of course, making her a slave is easier and less risky, but it is a risk Ervin was willing to take.
Xie Ya has plenty enough reasons to trust Lin Xiang without question at this point. He's quite literally the only cultivate with this kind of combat prowess and can easily use items never seen before. Additionally, her arrogance stems from simply being far more talented than them with her purple star bloodline. Even when she first met Lin Xiang, she was always arrogant and felt superior to others. That's what many other cultivators even Lin Xiang, Song Yu and Yin Xinya feels. They simply won't take actions that will put themselves into obvious troubles. Plus, there hasn't been a situation where their arrogance led them to making mistakes that could have been avoided. Other than that, none of them cares that they are arrogant since they have every reason to be.
You are thinking of Song Yuo who is a half-step Tyrant.
Well, it was never stated that the either elders or the disciples are concealing their divine auras. Lower cultivators can at least feel the extreme amount of power higher cultivators have. It's their natural presence. So even if it was another Heavenly King besides Lin Xiang, they would've at least felt the tremendously powerful presence of Divine Tyrants and feel fear from their souls. A Heavenly King would also feel the same amount of fear from a Divine Lord natural presence. Because of that, any Heavenly King would instantly run away. But Lin Xiang was far too calm about everything.
He does enjoy dual cultivating, but the effects are better when he genuinely cares about his partners. And it was due to special circumstances that he had even got with his girls. He had already figured out that ordinary dual cultivation with random women is far inferior to the connections he already has. And the reason Xiang is rushing through this planet is so he can have the power to protect his girls and soon reunite with them.
The only aspect you can count that Lin Xiang is a 'slave' is that he just needs to this mission, or he will die. But the way you're using the term seems as if Lin Xiang's entire life is control by the system. I'm just confused how is just having one death mission, that doesn't even appear again is so disappointing when Lin Xiang's goal was already what the mission wants him to do.
The system literally only gave two missions at the cost of his life and that's it, yet he's a slave? Is the system telling him everything that he should do? As in directing every action and the way he should talk? The most system does is give him targets for women he should partner with. Does the system have some sort of personality that's berating him? Is the system not helping Lin Xiang when he needs it? What is making him a slave? The fact he's given hard mission that he can easily complete with his innate powers? I do not get why you and others keep referring the system as some sort of masters when very clearly, the system has little presence besides aiding Lin XIang.
I can understand your points, but I don't get what you mean by the fights being two people standing face to face as if they mind readers? All fights clearly details that everyone still needs to move fast enough to react to attack or if they're weaker simply can't dodge at all. Most of the time, fights are settled in long ranges as that their laws are best at.
I can admit that there should be more details focus on moving along the story, but focusing solely on story progression and nothing else. No detail on characters, no detail on the environment, no detail on the attack being used, then what's the point? That simply feels robotic and pointlessly boring. Absolutely no flavor text to engage a reader. The reason I describe his past life and his current prowess is to showcase the superiority of his bloodline. Of how an ancient person is studying the difference of power. Sure, there are novels where the writing style that cuts out any and all detail is good, but I will always feel bored and stale with those writing styles. Also, I do not understand your example. My example is describing the facet of cultivation, comparing what he experienced in the past to the future which will impact the society of the world. I simply find it dull to not add any flavor text in favor of focusing solely on story progression.
they explained there is a seal preventing heavenly kings from coming, the suppression seal. And they were just notified that somehow the four peak heavenly ruler guardians were killed. They would only assume that the person who killed the guardians and went in was another heavenly ruler. There's nothing stopping Heavenly Rulers from entering.
