I meant to convey that everyone who knew about Dredre's existence was there, except Ann, who couldn’t attend due to her practice. It wasn’t just Jaya—Diana and Cindy were also present. Here's what you need to know: The Tao Eye is a unique physique, with only one person able to possess it in each generation. The Tao Eye (100%) consists of the 3rd Eye (90%) and the Eye Socket (10%). Karl took the 3rd Eye but didn’t acquire the Eye Socket from Clown Mask's forehead, leaving him with only 90% of the Tao Eye. Clown Mask retained the remaining 10%. Even after Clown Mask became a Daughter Gem, she couldn't close the hole on her forehead, as the remaining 10% of the Tao Eye prevented her. She couldn’t regenerate it either, because 90% of her physique was missing, and there can only be one Tao Eye. Karl used his 90% of the Tao Eye to create a card that allowed him to see two seconds into the future. Finding it inadequate, he passed the card to one of his incarnations to use as an ingredient for creating an Origin Card, which became a degraded version of the Tao Eye known as the “Eye of Prosperity.” Later, Karl added it to his Origin Card collection. Meanwhile, Clown Mask’s 10% of the Tao Eye grew to 90%, transforming into a degraded version called the “Eye of Fortune” thanks to pixie dust and primordial energy. Now that her connection to her physique has strengthened, she’s receiving alien thoughts, urging her to kill Karl if she wants to complete her Tao Eye and informing her much more. Ultimately, it appears both pieces of the Tao Eye—held by Karl and Clown Mask—are required to gain a Complete Tao Eye. There is no shortcut. I won’t go into further details, as that would reveal spoilers for future chapters.

Talented Card apprentices can jump grades and upgrade their grimoires to a higher grade. I think I mentioned this when he used silver milk powder to help Susan upgrade her grimoire to silver grade.
