some people decide to get freaky with monsters i guess

I can see the reasoning behind it. personally I would rather not mind control my Pokémon simply because it takes a lot of the fun out of it, ending up in a scenario like cheating in videogames where the only joy you can achieve is by harming others. not sure if it would play out exactly like that but it would suck some of the joy out of it for me.
