not even that picture is ugly.
agree to disagree, I guess. they're the closest thing we've seen to Shadow, and she could be the prettiest.
*eternal? transcendents only had 100k, right?
neither do primordials, because she wins instantly. I wouldn't think she trains with primordials very often, at least not to the level of exhaustion. more of a lesson in humility, not the kind of reflex training she's doing with nux.
doesn't he still have burn scars?
that's suspicious too. khione disappears and you are suddenly invisible? anyone looking already would be suspicious.
how have the demons survived so long? they're struggling with one country while there are 4 more? demon king is worth 4 demon empires by himself?
*progenitors?
that's a recipe for the worst brats possible.
The world is a bit discordant. The power of field mobs and dungeon mobs is wildly disproportionate, for instance, and the level scaling feels multiplicative even when it's supposedly additive. A level 2 boss destroying a stone environment, for instance, which is greater than a level 22 field mob who didn't cause much damage to trees. A level 5 boss being quite capable of beating said level 22 field mob. The cost/benefit of things is also strange, the cost of armor against the destructive potential of mobs would make tanks almost impossible, especially with how little vitality as a stat means in comparison to the rest, but many of the humans encountered are tanks. And armor is prevalent, which is good because it looks awesome, but not effective in any real way while being quite expensive despite that. I get that writing maintenance isn't sexy, but it feels like a waste to spend a chapter gushing on how awesome the armor is and then focus entirely on dodging because one hit will scrap it. Otherwise it's really good. The people feel real, the interactions between them are fun to read, and the story is solid. My only complaint is the world, really, otherwise it'd be awesome.
