It started out interesting it but it lost me really fast. The sentences do not flow really well, its clear that english is not the author's first language but there's no excuse to not use the miriad of free apps online that lets you string proper sentences. I could only last 6 chapters before it lost me, there's a lot happening but at the same time it feels like nothing is happening. I feel no connection to the MC or the world around him and because of that I just can't get invested into the world.

A quick google search will tell you that fire is something natural, not a coincidence. Nature itself evolved because of its presence. I would even recommend you look up a few documentaries about how planets are formed, or more specifically, how our Earth came to be.
