Lol, you can think about it like that. But it more along the lines where matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Therefore the stone would work as a transfer of energy for the system to create other stuff(e.g matter, books,sword, pills, etc).

Author, I think u should limit the mc system. One way you could go about this is by using the stones as a energy. Everytime the mc wants use his extraction ability he would require energy. Which he could get by consuming stone(system).
