Thanks for the feedback mate. I have enjoyed each and every bit of it. In terms of Chusei, I have too many arcs with him alive and well still. There will be romance but as with everything else it's slow burn, progressive and I tend to get rid of things that don't seem natural to me. I can confirm though at some point you'll see romance sneaking it's way into the story.

I have contemplated losing Chusei because of the plethora of effects it would have on readers and the characters alike. Nothing is final as of yet though.

He's ten and spent about four hours practicing with no instructions. Naruto spent at least a week trying and failing. I don't flaunt my knowledge of naruto much in this series because It's a slight AU and I want the characters to stand almost independent. But I will let you know that I've done my part to ensure that at the age of ten he is better than the rookie nine. Just less experienced than other prodigious shinobi. That's all.

Kobaru is only nine, Nagisa's eleven and Chusei's 14 at this point.
