The story has a happy ending. The first couple we meet does not have a happy ending. The younger twin and Shen Zichen, the male doctor friend, do get married and have a happy ending.

I don’t know about others but +30 years ago in LA County it was $35. Way cheaper to get married by a judge at a civil ceremony and you would get the legal marriage license. A church wedding was way more expensive. -The requisite marriage class $800. -My church required a marriage license $35 -The church reservation and service $600. -The church approved attire $300 for a generic tux and shoes. Min $200 for bridal gown (shoulders, arms, and chest covered. Hem below the knee) -Add flowers $300-$800 -Organist, or Choir $200- $400

Dear Author, Thank you for sharing your novel. I appreciate your mass releases this weekend. I am especially grateful that you have kept to a regular release schedule. I did my best to support you by paying for privileged access. Sadly, I am very disatisfied the character development of the Devil, especially with his passive behavior in the current arc. It undermines any build up of devil like traits, behaviors, or characteristics the male lead might have previously had that allowed him to carry the title of “the Devil”. Up until now, the readers are led to believe that the male lead known as “the Devil” would not allow anyone to be physically close to him if that person was not related to him. At least I believe that is one of the takeaways from the previous arc when we learn that even as a youth our male lead was only close to the female lead. After several story arcs he married the female lead. But now out of the blue an ex-girl friend shows up and somehow surprise hops on his lap? 🙄 This is completely out of character. He knows that ex drugged him years earlier, but the “Devil” lets her off with a warning only after spending time in his office with his kids and later at a restaurant also with his kids? The “Devil” fears the ex-gf will harass his wife 🤔 or the possibility of the ex-gf’s family to threaten his wife... so the male lead chooses to not say he’s married. 🙅‍♀️ Sadly there seems to be a slow moving series of emasculating events or erosion of character traits starting a few arcs back; this continued in the arc where he is the long haired big sister; unfortunately repeating the same erosion of his character in this latest arc. I love the male lead and would like to stick around and find out where the story ends...but I’m confuzzled So what can I do? 🤷‍♀️ Time for me to walk away💃🏻. I agree! She drugged him, she never apologizes. Is the Devil really a devil? 🤔 He let her sit on his lap the moment she appears in his office ? The Devil seems more like an emasculated side kick to Tang Moyu.
