This is a stable novel to me as it really didn't have the plots that would make you drop it. The premise is that the Li family is a small vassal of a Beast Taming sect, and that sect was about to be destroyed because it's enemy has a Nascent level cultivator while they don't. So, the Li family decided to move their family away to not be killed by the other sect. I really like this one as it's a mix of clan focus and the protagonist's strength. It didn't favor one over another but equally. I like kingdom building novels, but most of the time, the protagonist's strength aren't really focusing on their personal strength but more on the overall. So, this really piqued my interest as it's a mix of two. This novel also shows the other members of the clan, not entirely focusing on the protagonist. It's entertaining to see how each of them will turn out. The plot for the novel is also clear here, which is basically in the title. Although, I'm not sure if it's a mistake as it said rebuilding immortal clan. They are rebuilding their family, but their previous state is not even on the level of immortal? Unless there is a hidden back story I haven't read yet, but that's a small probability since I'm already at the 500 chapters. In conclusion, I highly recommend this if it piqued your interests.
This has great settings, characterization, and even the way it started is good. Unfortunately, I have to drop it as it has too much trouble. You see, the protagonist goal in his school life is to be low-key and to not get in trouble with others. He's not even there for one month, and someone already had trouble with him because of Jasmine. I don't have a grudge with her, but the way she attracts trouble is like a magnet. She also constantly troubles Link, the protagonist, ruining his peaceful life. And I could already foresee on how she's planning to stick to him until the ends of the earth because she finds Link "different." And clarification, Jasmine is not the only trouble around him. I love wizard novels, but it's more on my cup of tea if the protagonist is really low-key and hates trouble. Like real.
you really can't resist a mother's love, especially when they're this caring and protective tAt
Not bad, actually. The premise of the novel is that there's a supernatural game choosing people to be Lords in it. If they die in the game, they also die in real life. Probably a con in the situation is that they can use magical items from the game in real life. The protagonist is an orphan and doesn't have wealth that got inherited from his parents, so he's quite at a disadvantage. Because some newcomers like him use their wealth to buy items for their selves. The pace is kinda slow, taking its time with the development and all. There isn't much conflict of human vs. human, more like human vs. monsters as they're trying to survive and dominate. And as of where I stopped, there aren't signs of romance or harem. After 100 chapters or so, it became more kingdom building focused. Overall, it's a decent Lords novel. Personally, though, I didn't like the pace.
It's not bad, actually. What hooked is that it's from the same author of Unscientific Beast Taming. Settings is the beast taming era hasn't arrived yet, it was just about to begin. The protagonist is someone who can communicate with animals, and he is hailed from a long lineage of family having something to do with animals. Overall, I quite like it. BTW, this is already translated in NU, but this has more translated chapters (although chop-chop).
It is readable but has a lot of unnecessary fillers. The talents also lost their use as the background settings widened.
It's not that bad, not the worst I've read. I finished it, although I got bored midway since there's a lot of fillers where they praised him and how strong he is. It's also harem, which I'm not aware of. It's not the main theme, though, just the side. I do wish that it gave the male side characters more screen time. Like Gu Mo, his fellow disciples at the academy, Kong Nian, etc. The female side characters have more screen time, in comparison, which is a big bias. Especially when Gu Mo is with the MC right from the start and had a huge potential. He should have stayed beside the MC and not whisked far away. This is quite entertaining at first, though, and it does get better. The ending also revealed his past life and how he transmigrated. A nice read if you have a lot of time and patience.
It's actually a decent read so far. The MC's a lowkey type, and he does maintain that personality. The gold finger isn't too outrageous for me to drop it. Rather, it also has limitations and conditions when rewarding the MC with items, techniques, etc. It's also entertaining to see his life with plants and animals. I just need this clear stream in full action-packed webnovels. The interaction with other characters is also great, especially with Old He. I see the two of them as grandson and grandfather. Overall, it was a nice read, and I recommend it.
He's always been a green flag. 😌
The first few are good, but around the 100s, it started to go downhill, which I don't think I'm the only one noticed. I'm even questioning if this is an IDOL show or a life and death game? Because it wasn't giving an idol show, it's giving death and schemes. I did expect there's gonna be some action scenes because he's apparently a "gangster," but wth is this. You should have upgraded him into an assassin for the scenario to fit better. And wth is with the villains? Can't there be one villain at a time? Because they're too many, like a cockroach. All of their character design is also shallow and ridiculous. For the main character, I think he hit his head and thinks he's a gangster in his past life. Because he doesn't act, look like, and think like a right-hand man of a gang leader. He's acting innocent, naive, and a saint. He's probably lucky he survived that long if he is not delusional that he's an ex gangster. For his so-called "friends" in show? They're bs. Their actions is really a red flag, especially when only one of them stood for the MC (during the Choi incident) after what they all went through. I would immediately drop friends like that. Those kind of people are not worth your time, efforts and feelings. I'm not only talking about fictional but real life, baby. This is an advice. And, this novel probably contained more drama than the televisions my mom watched. Like, wth. This is a SURVIVAL show. What are we doing with this drama? It just doesn't match up. I'm already exhausted with all the drama happening. Overall, this is not a good read for me. For a more detailed review, I suggest reading RealBanana19's review. It's comprehensive and detailed, and I quite agree with her/his views. I also suggest the author read that review as it can make the novel better.
duh.
