no he is not, fanfics made him into evil character. i have read lot of HP fanfics and most of evil Dumbledore/douche ron fanfics been low effort novels where authors change the orginal plot to make mc the good guy and have some face slapping moments. Fanfic authors use snapes words "he was raised as a pig for slaughter" to argue that Dumbledore is evil, but it's just that Dumbledore never explained his full plan to anyone even to snape, so he only seen it as Dumbledore using harry as a sacrificial lamb. Dumbledore had doubts about horcruxes from second year,he doubt that harry is a horcrux in third year i think after the tri-wizard tournament end when harry survive voldy(Dumbledore explain in order of pheonix, when dumbs and harry was to apparitate he see voldemort in Harry's eyes. in that books dumbs just head pat harry and tell that there's nothing to fear but Dumbledore already made a conclusion in that book that harry is a horcrux) this is from a reddit post: Incredible foreshadowing of Harry's blood's power in Goblet of Fire In 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', after Harry comes out of the maze and tells Dumbledore that Voldemort had used his blood to regenerate himself, he sees "**a flash of triumph** " in Dumbledore's eyes. Now this bugged me a lot at the time, and I never thought about it much, until Harry meets Dumbledore in the limbo in Deathly Hallows, where he explains Voldemort's fatal mistake. It meant that at the time **Dumbledore knew that Voldemort wouldn't be able to kill Harry as Lily's protection in Harry's blood \(which Voldemort now had\) would bring Harry back to life if he was killed by Voldemort**. This enabled Harry to get rid of the part of Voldemort's soul that was in him when he let Voldemort kill him in Deathly Hallows, while himself remaining alive, since Lily's protection was alive in Voldemort's veins. Pretty epic storytelling, IMHO. bro if you haven't read HP book give it a try,book is completely different than movies. Just read king cross chapter in deathly hallows you will see a completely different Dumbledore than these authors portray
