The chapters with Serenity detail what happened with Thundra's timeline. Not sure what else you're referring to.
wELL, Xephiz finished out his university classes and graduated, and is on to bigger and better things. This was just a side gig to make money for him. I worked with him, so I have no relevance. This is one of the bigger stories on the site, so when no new chapters got posted, they took it away and gave it to another translation team. I was never contacted since they don't value editors here. (shrugs) Nothing I can do about it. I guess working on a story for 2000 chapters or whatever doesn't mean much, right?
Interesting. Xeph and I actually translated up to this chapter. I wonder why they weren't posted and they went with the new people? You can tell they aren't edited well when Mu bai <- isn't capped right at the start and so forth. Heh! Oh well, Here's hoping the story moves forward. After editing it for all those chapters, I really do want to read how it ends, but now it's all locked behind the paywall. :/
If you want to support me, come read my Power of Ten novels over on Royal Road. I have a Patreon, too ;) The first novel started here as a part time thing while I was editing the early Versatile Mage chapters!
Xeph is graduating college, so he's going on to bigger and better. :)
Must have!
Likely not. The translator business is really dying off nowadays, and editing is the first thing to go. Heck, they're thinking that a translator can just use Google and then 'correct' that mess to get a good novel out of it, as good as having an editor. It basically comes down to money, and Webnovel doesn't want to pay. (shrugs). I'm helping out with Abe the Wizard (almost done) and another series where the editor is sick. But this job will likely be gone within six months.
Xephiz is probably done with translating. I'm getting spot jobs here and there, nothing like the last two thousand chapters. :) I've edited Versatile Mage since the beginning!
I believe so. I've been removed as Editor without warning, so they probably considered Versatile Mage a flagship novel and moved it to another translating group after nobody was tagged to relieve him.
These new chapters were done by me and Xephiz, but I've been removed as the Editor on Webnovel here. You'll know when our chapters are done by when our names aren't at the top. Thanks to everyone who followed the novel all this time, and best of luck to whoever is picking it up.
