In my opinion, the FL is too soft and stupid even after being betrayed. She so gullible that I had to drop the book out of frustration. She's not a really considered cunning or cool. The writng quality was good though but there were some inconsistencies with the story line.

it's still rape. it doesn't matter if he treated her nicely before, during, and after the act. she was still coerced to comply with his demands for her and her sister's safety. coercion is not consent. he's really controlling and manipulative.
