A great second season yet very different from the first one. In the first season, the MC is driven by angst and threats. He was constantly fighting for survival. He was in the light, uncovering the darkness behind. And in the end, he left to fight it. In this second season hoever, the MC is driven by hope and pain. He's constantly fighting for hope and against the pain, that comes along. He's in the darkness, searching for the light.

We reached the end 😭 Even though I often felt stupid for not understanding what's going on (especially at every volume' end) - and I don't get the end either (who survived, who didn't and why?), I enjoyed the book as I enjoyed season 1. And everyone seems to carry on, so I'm satisfied. Thanks Cuttlefish for yet another great story! Sadly, we'll never come to know Lumian's real name.
