The MC is shown as someone smart in the first few chapters, but later we get to know that he's not smart, rather a complete idiot. Everyone uses him and then throw him away. The perfect word for the MC would be a SIMP. He thinks he's strong and smart, but he's not. When it comes to any girl in the novel, the MC's brain turns off. He knows that the girls are using him and don't respect him (Around chapter 200) but what does he do? Nothing. It's not like the MC is weak or anything. He's strong, but still useless because of his mentality. Don't waste your time if you're looking for an MC that is remotely likeable. Apart from that, the world itself is interesting, but is ruined by the story development. Around Ch 170 it all gets stupid. It feels like the story is a filler with an unlikable MC. Around these chapters, it doesn't even feel like the MC is the male character. So I dropped it at 208 chapter. I read in comments that it gets way worse around 300 chapters. He gets used, betrayed, thrown away and still does not want revenge.

A well written novel. I like the actual depth given to cultivation. Instead of the normal leveling up and stuff like that, The story is interesting and not easily predictable.

Trash novel. Tyranny of Steel was somewhat of a better novel. But here the MC is just plain stupid. Despite calling himself the greatest General, he has the smarts of a 3-year-old kid with a brain the size of a pea. He can't even blatantly see how others treat his slave. Serving an incompetent Emperor, and he justifies it with being loyal to the country. If he was loyal to the country and its people, the first this he would do would be to kill that Emperor. He does so much for the country and then gets flogged through the streets naked. And still remains loyal. Lol sure. Instead of being realistic and practical, Go live in your wish fulfillment, would be believed world Author

A well-thought-out story. The story clearly shows that the author thinking long and hard before writing the story, instead of just doing work count writing. The poems/Rhymes are well-made and precise. The best, thing is that the MC is smart and knows what to do. He is not naive.
