why do I feel that obito is under genjetsu

they were watching him of course. madara need someone naive, emotional and love greatly to manipulate him easily and help him awaken the mangekyo, especially the mangekyo as only awakened when member of the uchiha face great loss aka someone greatly love. You see that in canon, Madara manipulated the events for memeber of kiri to kidnapp Rin and seal the three tales in her, after that allwed obito to go and rescue her making sure that obito will fail. in the end, manipulating obito was a piece of cake.
