Galactic Tempest

Here I am once again and hopefully here to stay. Who am I kidding, I'll be lucky enough if I don't lose motivation within a week or two with this story. Anyways, here's another story that I've decided to write. ----- ----- In the year 2200, an event greater than even the Cambrian Explosion occurred which evolved all life on the planet known as Earth. Humanity had evolved to absorb dark energy to produce a special energy known as Aether which not only increase a persons lifespan, but their physical capabilities as well. This alongside various other evolutionary changes resulted in a small amount of humans with special powers. Not only that but after this event, aliens of various kinds, even other humans appeared and welcomed Earth to the Cosmic Union. Join Alex Mercer, a young fifteen year old in the year 2392 as he wishes to join the Galactic Academy. A school which was built to nurture and develop mere mortals into powerful gods to keep the peace and protect the universe from evil threats. But first, Alex must register into the World Tournament and must place within the top three to be accepted.
