This time, she is free and has no need to act horrible but she's still being a tyrant and selfish to her benefactors (including the principal). Of course, she can warn and guide him but her decision is too extreme. What she knows is different from what he knows so a little trust would've been better rather than scrutiny and torture.

This is a novel and he has MC plot... also, it's practically his second main element so it doesn't make sense for him to stop just coz his waifu asks for it. This is why I don't like adding love interests in novels coz FLs are the #1 hindrance to the MLs 😮‍💨
