The start of this novel blatantly plagiarizes Robbin Hobbs assassins apprentice. Frankly I don’t feel comfortable reading this due to that. I don’t know if later chapters will plagiarize from assassins apprentice or other novels but I’d rather not read this due to the fact it’s a real possibility considering everything from the grandfather dropping him off to character interactions within those first 8 chapters was beat for beat ripped off with very minor changes to fit the world setting.
