In a world full of mystic arts, I would work so hard to get Long life(seen it in a few game settings = 1000 year lifespan) or Rapid Self-Healing so your not with out limbs or one of your senses.

Personally show a rather good idea for fishing, you take a few live fishes(small, like pinky size) and put them in a clear container and make sure it sinks, toss the container in a part of the water where you want to caster your line/net and you will get some decent fish.

Remember this is AU pokemon world blended with our universe while his playing the game version that we know but all mix together.
