<800 chapters in At level 40 something he fought level 90 something, permanently capacitating two title Douluo… by level 79 he’s still struggling with 90 something title Douluo. 😓 No matter how impressive his abilities seem they are dismissed with sophistry that constantly elevates the opposition 🤨 it’s to the point that each of his massive achievements that cause his strength to skyrocket don’t seem to have much accumulative effect on his overall combat effectiveness. 😮‍💨 He has an ability that greatly improves his own strength but he also has an ability that can mass produce powerful allies, both human and beast… he only ever used it directly on spirit beasts and medicinal plants but there’s no reason to presume it would fail to work on soul masters. 😑 he plays undercover agent so long that his friends hate him and his enemies love him and despite devoting years behind the scenes he has no real control over the events and even ends up helping the enemy at an important point creating more drama. Though the MC doesn’t actually make any moves on the women he’s already got a collection of devoted love interests pining for him and treating him like a ‘scumbag’ for attracting other women. 😕 mind you the most intimate experience he’s had add up to a couple hugs and a few kisses… on the cheeks and forehead. He’s absent a lot and even when he’s not he’s often impersonating someone else 😮‍💨 whatever.

I generally like the idea of harem… but not like this. He’s gunning for these women like rare commodities to add to his collection and he’s treating them like pretty NPC’s. He already has the juvenile equivalent to a lover and he doesn’t exactly have a lot of free time to waste so why would he divert so much of his attention on gathering a collection when he should be finding better ways to unlock his potential? We don’t want him to be apathetic and focused solely on training but it’s too early to consider diversifying his love life, no?

I’ve seen this before… The only thing that’s changed is the beginning. The MC is basically an extra character who adds nothing to the plot. You’re five chapters in and you’re nearly caught up with the 26 chapters of the other fanfic 🤨 all that’s left is for Ross to get custody of his kid. Might be a good idea to change this chapter since when you copied and pasted the other fanfic, you forgot that in this version he isn’t related to Ross and Monica so his last name isn’t Geller. I don’t know if you wrote the other fanfiction or if you just didn’t want to write your own… but Mercer Wayne isn’t a Geller so quite a few parts of this chapter were nonsensical.

Because you probably did, this is definitely copied. The only difference is the beginning since in the other one he was related to Ross and Monica hence why Chandler kept referring to him as Geller during this chapter.

I always get frustrated by the choices these fanfic protagonists make regarding their wishes… it’s like they are automatically moderated by an author who’s trying not to make them overpowered as it would make the story imbalanced. 🤨 Yes… I do realize this is a story written by such an author 🫤 but in what world does it make sense to give someone a blank check for three wishes and the lucky sap doesn’t milk it for all it’s worth? His wishes were all so reasonable 😑 nothing like superhuman abilities or magic… everything was within the range of human ability albeit near the top achievable. He should’ve at least wished for something borderline metaphysical like happiness for himself and those he cares for. To add insult to injury… I’m pretty sure Batman has eidetic memory so it feels like he wasted a wish.
