As soon as Nathaniel buttoned up Maya's blouse, his phone began to ring on the desk next to him.
"A moment, my love," Nathaniel said with a proud smile on his lips as he kissed her on the cheek and slid out of bed to take the call.
When he noticed it was Clark, he walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
He might have let Maya know that he was a member of the De La Rue family, but he wasn't ready to reveal to her that he was, in fact, the President of DLR Enterprises.
"Yes?" Nathaniel asked in a gruff tone as he kept his eyes on the door, making sure that Maya didn't peek out of the room.
"There has been progress on the investigation," Clark declared over the phone. "We have a list of people that are involved, we also know that they are looking for potential new employees to join their ranks."
