News of a Party
News came faster than Nathaniel expected, by lunch everyone was buzzing about the party that Alistair De La Rue was about to throw for the company.
Some of his female co-workers were swooning at the idea of catching the President's attention.
"Do you really think he'll bat an eye at you girls?" one of his newfound friends in the marketing department said flatly.
On Nathaniel's first day in the Marketing Department, people avoided him like the plague, all save for Benedict.
"Whatever, Benedict," the woman scoffed, making Nathaniel shake his head in amusement.
"I swear those girls are delusional," Benedict told Nathaniel as he leaned against the wall right next to the latter's desk.
Nathaniel didn't lift his head as he continued to work on his laptop, "As delusional as you are and your dreams of getting it on with the President's assistant."
One of the first things Nathaniel learned about Benedict was his huge crush on Clark Thomas.
