Nathaniel frowned as he remembered the name at the top of the list Clark had given him.
Jay Woods.
His best friend's name was at the very top of the list, it meant that he was the most likely one that the detectives thought Maya had any romantic relations with.
He couldn't believe that after he had left his friend had made a move on Maya.
"He couldn't have," Nathaniel whispered to himself as he looked up at the towering DLR Enterprises tower. "Jay just so happened to support her, that's why they think he dated her."
Nathaniel shook his head as he walked into the building, his mind filled with thoughts of Jay and Maya, of Maya and Jay, of what could have happened between them.
"Or if they did date, there is nothing wrong about that," Nathaniel said as he waited for the elevator. "I left, she chose to love."
Then a thought hit him.
