Attack on Miller Mansion
Bella stood in the security room surrounded by screens and several bodyguards that Maya insisted stay with her if a code red was declared.
"Bella, are you still there?" Ryan's voice came from her phone, snapping her from her trance.
"Fuck," Bella cursed. "Shouldn't this be illegal? Like shouldn't the military or the police step in if something like this happens?"
"I think you're forgetting that we can't see what you're seeing," Ryan told her.
She rolled her eyes. For a genius, her brother was often quite stupid.
"I'm pretty sure the cameras here at home are linked to you and Nathaniel," Bella grumbled. "If not, then just hack it."
"She's probably right," she heard Maya chuckle over the phone.
"It's linked," Nathaniel said.
Bella guessed that she was on speaker and that Nathaniel was on another call.
