Nathaniel had planned for everything to move so fast that by the time news of his identity broke it was too late.
The last members of the Syndicate were already being escorted out of their homes or whichever establishments they were at for the night.
Meanwhile, Nathaniel and Maya stood waiting for the CEO's elevator, and when it opened Clark was inside.
A look of relief spread on the assistant's face as he saw that Nathaniel and Maya hadn't yet left.
"The press is in a frenzy, they don't know what to report first," Clark said as he alighted from the elevator and spoke with Nathaniel.
"That was to be expected," Nathaniel hummed as he played with Maya's fingers in his hand.
"Well they decided that coming here would hit two birds with one stone," Clark announced, shaking his head. "Do you want to talk to them or will we just leave and issue a statement."
