A Bargain
"Shit," Nathaniel cussed as he looked around the hall.
Maya had vanished.
Of course, she had the advantage here, she grew up in this mansion and was probably trained how to evade an attacker in her home turf.
"Woah, did you and my sister have a fight or something?" Ryan, Maya's second younger brother asked.
Nathaniel hadn't had much interaction with him and as much as he wanted to chat he had to find Maya and talk to her.
"Did she go by here?" he asked.
"She did, and I can guess where she went," Ryan said with a smile on his lips.
"You're gonna make me bargain to find out, won't you?" Nathaniel asked, annoyed that Ryan was wasting his time.
He needed to find Maya.
They needed to talk and she had to understand his reasons.
"Look, you've made a deal with Nico and Belle, I think I should get one too," Ryan reasoned with him. "The sooner you agree, the sooner I can tell you where my sister is hiding."
