Chapter Pov Vailein.

After taking care of the kids that tried to cheat in several ways, there are only 10 people still in the game. Janfa and Kira already forfeit because they don't want to show how far they got until now, nor want to attract the more influential kids. In the megatropolis a few of the rich kids would try to force a marriage on them, but the ones who truly matter haven't done anything yet. Both girls have beauty, confidence, brain, strength and a rich background. Many rich kids want to be able to use that, easy connections to a rich family, not to mention that they make perfect trophy wives. Both Janfa and Kira don't like that idea though and would probably attempt to kill the guy who forces them into marriage. In the top 10 my first opponent is a kid named Joshua. Since the top 3 generally only have 3 strong Pokemon the matches are reduced to a 3vs3. This causes my choice to fall on Flaaffy to start the battle. Joshua chooses an elite level Delphox as his first Pokemon.

Flaaffy vs Delphox

Delphox takes out his wand and waves it through the air, a small wave of psychic flows out of the wand directly to Flaaffy's head. Flaaffy's response is sidestep left two times to dodge and launch a quick thundershock. Dephlox creates a barrier with his wand to block the thunder shock, then spits out a flame directly from its mouth aiming for Flaaffy's feet. Flaaffy jumps up in the air dodging the flame and using her electric energy to charge straight at Delphox smacking into Delphox with a volt tackle. Delphox, bends over from the tackle and uses his wand again to send a psychic bomb directly on Flaaffy's hind legs. Flaaffy cries out in pain and accidentally discharges all remaining energy around Flaaffy, this strikes Delphox as well giving him severe electrical burns. Flaaffy is now powerless for a few minutes but can still recharge her fur by running around. Her hind legs however are severely hurt so instead of aggravating the injury she surrenders.

I send out Medicham as my second Pokemon. Then Joshua retrieves Delphox because it is too injured to keep going. My opponent sends out a Froslass who has a type advantage against Medicham.

Medicham vs Froslass

Froslass starts by charging a shadow ball up in front of herself. Medicham uses fight energy to enhance its speed to the maximum and appear behind Froslass. Medicham then attempts to use a psyshock while punching. Froslass quickly changes her shadow ball attack into a pulse attack above her head pushing Medicham away. Medicham has a strong body so he doesn't get pushed back a lot and launches a psybeam directly to Froslass. Though not very effective it will still do some damage. Froslass takes the hit while rebuilding it's shadow ball. This time Medicham is unable to interfere with the shadow ball and now has to keep the heat seeking orb busy, or destroy it. Medicham chooses the second option by using an aura sphere to interfere with the shadow ball. Then Medicham launches itself again at Froslass with a psychic punch. Medicham hits and Froslass launches a shadow ball directly into Medichams face. Medicham reacts fast by spitting out a small aura attack canceling the worst of it. Medicham however gets out of the exchange as the worst of the two. Medicham changes his attitude from playing to serious. While Froslass is charging the next shadow ball, Medicham coats his body in a tiny layer of energy. When Froslass releases the shadow ball, Medicham uses teleport behind Froslass and then a psychic attack to distract Froslass. Froslass gets hurt from the psychic attack, then its own shadow ball reverses its trajectory and also flies straight into Froslass's face hurting it even more. Seeing Froslass slightly confused, Medicham takes this chance to rush close and performs a close combat assault with psychic energy directly at the back of Froslass. Froslass is pretty badly hurt after all that but still standing. Froslass now uses several pulses of ghost energy to push back Medicham. Not only that but Medicham is unable to keep holding on after the 5th hit and gets blown out of the battle ring. Medicham loses because it plays around too much. Though Froslass could also do better by spreading ice around to prevent solid footing for Medicham.

Seeing how strong my opponent is, I choose Houndoom. My opponent forfeits the match Froslass vs Houndoom because of the damage of the previous round. His final Pokemon is an Alolan Dugtrio, a steel and ground type, and to guess the one he spends most of his points training this one since it is a king level Pokemon just like my Articuno and Houndoom.

Houndoom vs Dugtrio.

Houndoom starts by using his dark fire abilities, trying to chain Dugtrio and drag it into the dark dimension. Dugtrio changes the ground into a smooth mirror-like substance. While Dugtrio starts calling its name in different pitches the floor creates spikes, almost like an audiograph, that assault Houndoom. Houndoom quickly realizes that Dugtrio is a slippery opponent and that chaining him up won't work. So instead the chains change into whips and come from every angle to harm Dugtrio. Houndoom has to dodge the spikes that Dugtrio creates, just like Dugtrio has to dodge Houndooms attacks. Houndoom suddenly stops dodging and blasts fire directly on the ground beneath him, melting the mirror like surface. Dugtrios' surprise at the sudden loss of control of its attack method, gets hit brutally by a dozen whip attacks from Houndoom. The attacks are super effective but Dugtrio is hanging on stubbornly and unleashes a devastating earthquake. Houndoom can only take that hit because he wasn't prepared for any retaliation. Houndoom has all four of his legs damaged till they bleed from the earthquake. Dugtrio sees that Houndoom is still able to launch ranged attacks, twirls around and faints. This is actually the first Pokemon that I fainted from my opponent and gives a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

I defeat my first opponent of the top 10 meaning 8 more to go. The Dugtrio turns out to not yet be a real king stage Pokemon but very close, the type advantage made it a hard opponent. Guess I should just go for the victory as soon as I can from now on or I might get one of my Pokemon hurt too badly to get into the top 2. If Mav and I take both the top 2 we can take what we want from the school and be done with it. When I finally enter my room for a rest I see a very sexy dressed Kira.
