53 They Are Being Secretive

The day after, I step inside the admission office to enroll for the second semester, and now, it's an actual class and not an online class. On the other hand, Jungmin stroll to his building to enroll for his last semester for this year.

There, I glimpse at my program chairman, who's grinning at me. Then, I walk closer to my program chairman and bow at her. She signs me to sit down so I do what she's been told.

She gives a form for my enrollment and says, "Welcome back, Ms. Jeon."

"Thank you, Ms. Shal. I'm excited to have an actual set up class instead of an online class." She nods.

"It is. Well, the class starts in two days so all the requirements are in this form that I give to you. Fill that out and straight to the cashier for the fees. After that, you come back to the office for your schedules. Goodluck Ms. Jeon." I nod and walk out of the admission office and straight to the bench, where located in the field.

I take a deep breath when a breeze passes by my nostrils and feel the hint scent of the calming green fields. "It's great to be back at school." I murmur.

Suddenly, my form flies with the air which causes me to jump out of the bench to catch the paper but I can't. And when it goes down, I glance at the man, who grabs the paper but since he's in a slouch position, I couldn't see his face. And when he stands up, I smile and grab the form out of him.

"Thank you, Tae," I say and saunter closer to him and hold his hand, pushing him to the bench.

"What are you doing here?" He asks.

"Hmm… I miss being in school so I walk around and sit here to fill the enrollment form. How about you?"

"Well, I'm here to enroll as you do and when I see you catching the paper, I decided to help you out." He explains.

"Stalker." I murmur. He chuckles and gently, caresses my hair.

"Anyway, I heard that you keep your apartment." I glimpse at him and hum.

"Yes… And as I said, I don't want to risk more lives."

"You can stay with us. With Jungmin of course so we could protect you." I shake my head and hold his hand.

"Wait… I thought you moved beside the apartment?" I ask.

"Yes but I need to go back to our house for some reason. Min… what do you say? Are you going to accept my offer?"

"Thank you for the offer but it's fine if I live with Jungmin at the apartment. Also, I promise that I'll be more careful and if something bad happens, I'll protect myself." He sighs as he clasps his hand around my hand and gently, fondling my outer palm.

"If that's your decision then, it's fine but if something bad happened. Don't hesitate to call me, okay?" I smile and nod.

"So how's the enrollment?" Immediately, I shift the topic.

He shrugs as he wraps his arms around my waist on the side and leans his head on my shoulder.

"Tae… I… need to fill out the form." He hums incomprehensibly and shakes his head.

"Tae?" I call him again yet he replies. This time, I lift my hand and caress his blonde hair. I smile when seeing his eyes shut close.

Then, I lean my head to his and peck his hair. I strive to fill out my paper even if it's difficult. After a minute, I'm done with my form so I place it inside my bag and focus on Taehyung.

"Tae? Are you okay?" He nods and then his ocean blue eyes stare at me like he's hypnotizing me. His eyes that I never get tired of.

He unwraps his arms around me, instead, he leans closer to my face as I close my eyes, and when his lips touch mine, I flinch as my eyes wide when a yell comes from nowhere. I see Jungmin with exhausted pants. My eyes roll when Jungmin interrupts us. He awkwardly smiles and glances at Taehyung.

"Let's go. We have something to discuss." Justin says.

"Wait, where are you two going? Can I come?" He sighs and shakes his head.

"I'm sorry, MinMin but it's a guy thing. Ahmm…" He bites his lips as he scratches his nape, avoiding my eye contact.

"Really? You're lying. What is it? You know you can tell me anything and also, what if I can help?" I ask and stand up but Taehyung stops me and slowly, tugs me back to the bench.

"It's okay, Min. No need to worry and also it's just a discussion so it's no big deal." Taehyung explains as he winks at me. I just sigh and nod.

"See you later, my love." He says, leaning closer to my face and gently, pecks my forehead and lifts away.

"Jungmin, Let's go."

"Wha—" I cut off when they flee away, leaving me behind.

"Huh… I wonder why they are being secretive," I murmur and stand up and walk to the counter to pay for my tuition fee.

Afterward, I step inside the apartment whereas Jungmin is in the kitchen, cooking for something. Then, I stroll inside my room to change my clothes. Shortly, I step outside my room, and there, I see Jungmin, who's ready all our food on the table so I walk closer and sit on the kitchen chair. He smiles and gives me a plate with chopsticks before sitting in front of me.

We both quiet whilst eating our meal as if we're a stranger which is weird for me. So I sigh before opening any topic.

"So, what happened a while ago?" He then looks at me as I ask him.

"What do you mean?"

"The one you called Taehyung and you two have something… I don't know… to discuss. What is it?" He smiles and shakes his head.

"Really? I perceive it has."

"Nothing particular. We discuss something important and it has nothing to do with you so you don't have to be worried, Okay?"

"I know it has some—"

"Just eat your food before it gets cold." He cuts my word while pointing out the food and continues eating his food.

Then I raise my brows when for the first time he cuts my words off.

'What was that? I think they're hiding something from me.' I thought to myself while looking at him with confusion inside my head.
