Goodbye

Linden's POV

the good relationship between loha and Rhea could have been broken today. it was my mother's last wish to keep a good relationship between our nations. how could i have loved a snake like Martha. she will be banished tomorrow. cant let a snake like this threaten the relationship between Rhea and Loha.

Lilith's POV

-the following day-

all the knights wore black armor and rode on snow white horses. both the princes armor were black and decorated with gold vines creeping on their chest plate. and they rode on black horses. the two princes were the most handsome amongst all of them. Edgar was my only friend since i arrived at the palace and he was leaving and i was to be left in the safety of the palace. i did feel kind of sad.

"cheer up Lilith were not dead yet, you can be sad when we all die" said Edgar and i burst out into laughter by that cheesy quote. this caused most of the other knights to also start laughing. but Linden didn't laugh, he always seemed so cold towards Edgar but i never knew why.

after the men started moving Edgar started moving also, after winking at me. Linden stayed a little longer and told me " well my princess, i guess this means goodbye, stay here. i left four S ranked knights here. they will protect you and father if anything happens here." "don't worry your highness, everything will be fine" i said

little did they all know that i had my own plans...
